This repository operates under a sovereign architecture governance model. There is one decision-maker: Sheldon K. Salmon, AI Reliability Architect and creator of the AION constitutional stack.
This is not a committee. It is not a DAO. It is not community-governed. It is a designed intellectual system maintained by its architect with invited collaboration under defined terms.

Framework updates are driven by FCL validation findings, session exploration with ALBEDO, and empirical testing. Convergence state changes require documented FCL evidence.
New framework additions require specification under the standard AION-BRAIN development methodology: named, versioned, tagged with convergence state, and documented with honest epistemic ceiling.
Architectural changes to the AGI project (new rooms in LOCI WORLD, new rooms in ALBEDO ARCHITECTURE, extension of the Shared Tunnel System) are made through documented session work published to the repository.
All major architectural decisions are documented in the repository with:
- Convergence state declaration
- ECF tagging (
[D]/[R]/[S]/[?]) - Honest uncertainty marking (
UNMAPPEDfor unexplored territory) - DDL field on certified outputs
Decisions are not hidden. Uncertainty is not smoothed over. The honest ceiling is always named.
