VERA (Unity A320-style FMC/MCDU Prototype)

VERA is a Unity-based Airbus A320–style FMC/MCDU training prototype focused on page navigation, line-select/keypad interaction, and responsive UI feedback. It’s built for learning, UI iteration, and rapid experimentation—not for full aircraft systems simulation.

What This Project Is (and Isn’t)

VERA is: an educational and development-focused prototype that helps you explore FMC UI behaviors and workflows.

VERA is not: a certified avionics product, a flight simulator, or a complete A320 systems simulation.

Getting Started

  1. Clone the repository.
  2. Open the project in Unity using the version specified in ProjectSettings/ProjectVersion.txt.
  3. Press Play and use the in-app UI to access the FMC experience.

If you run into import/build issues, open an issue with your Unity version, platform, and the relevant Console errors.

Roadmap (High-Level)

  • Expand FMC page coverage with consistent interaction patterns
  • Improve visual polish and usability
  • Add better test coverage for UI behaviors and input flows
  • Produce clearer documentation for contributors and page authors
